Polarein Enterprises is a technology company based in Noida, working across software products, industrial and hardware projects for B2B clients, and consumer-facing (D2C) brand work. Our video output is early-stage, which means you'll be building it rather than maintaining someone else's system. Nothing you cut will sit in a queue unseen.
About the role
Part-time internship, 3 months with possible extension. 20 hours a week, flexible around your college timetable — we'll agree a fixed schedule together. Fully remote.
The first 15 days are a probation period. At the end of it we'll both decide whether to continue for the full term. You're paid in full for those 15 days either way, and if we part ways you'll get your internship certificate for the period completed.
What you'll actually do
- Edit short-form vertical video for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn
- Cut talking-head, product and behind-the-scenes footage into finished pieces
- Add subtitles and on-screen text, and get them accurate
- Sound: music selection, levels, basic cleanup of imperfect audio
- Simple motion graphics — lower thirds, text animation, logo stings
- Colour correction and basic grading
- Longer-form edits: product demos, client case studies, site and factory footage
- Take one shoot and cut it into several pieces across formats and platforms
- Keep project files, footage and assets organised and named properly
What we're looking for
Must have:
- Currently studying or recently completed a course in film, media, mass communication, animation or design — or self-taught with work to show
- Working knowledge of Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro (CapCut alone is not enough)
- A showreel or portfolio link. YouTube, Drive, Instagram, Behance — anything we can watch. Applications without one won't be reviewed.
- An instinct for retention: you understand why the first two seconds decide whether a reel gets watched
- A computer that can actually handle editing, and a stable internet connection — this is a remote role and you'll be moving large files
- English good enough to write and check on-screen captions
Nice to have:
- After Effects, or motion graphics beyond basic text animation
- Sound design and audio mixing
- Able to shoot as well as edit — phone or camera
- Any experience with B2B, technical or industrial content, not just consumer or lifestyle
- Accurate subtitling in both Hindi and English

Stipend
₹5,000 per month, plus a performance bonus of up to ₹5,000 on completion of agreed milestones. The stipend rate is the same during the 15-day probation period.
