NMG Technologies (www.nmgtechnologies.com , www.nmgdigital.com ) is looking for a Link Building and Digital PR Specialist who will be involved in managing link building and Digital PR campaigns.
The Role
We don’t need someone who “knows SEO.” We need a Link Builder with a Digital PR brain — someone who lives in Ahrefs, manages outreach in BuzzStream or Pitchbox, writes emails that actually get replies, knows how to pitch journalists with data hooks, and understands that link building in 2026 goes far beyond guest posting.
NMG Technologies is a 17+ year digital agency. Our clients are US and UK enterprises — large brands that demand quality, not spam. You’ll be building high-authority backlinks, earning press mentions, and turning content assets into link magnets. If your only tactic is buying guest posts, this isn’t for you.
What You’ll Actually Do
- Prospect at Scale: Use Ahrefs, SEMrush, BuzzStream, Pitchbox, and Google Search Operators to find high-authority, niche-relevant link targets
- Outreach That Works: Write personalized pitches to editors, bloggers, journalists, and influencers — not template spam. Build long-term relationships, not one-time transactions
- Digital PR: Create and pitch data-driven stories, original research, expert roundups, and newsworthy hooks that earn editorial backlinks and press coverage
- Multiple Link Tactics: Go beyond guest posting — execute keyword mention campaigns, listicle placements, brand mention conversions (unlinked → linked), broken link reclamation, resource page targeting, and niche edits
- Infographic & Visual Link Building: Create and market infographics and visual content assets to earn embeds and backlinks from niche-relevant sites
- Long-Form Content Marketing: Develop and promote linkable assets (ultimate guides, industry studies, original data reports) designed to attract natural backlinks at scale
- Influencer Collaboration: Identify and build relationships with niche influencers, thought leaders, and industry experts for co-created content and earned links
- Citation & Local SEO: Build and manage citations using tools like BrightLocal for multi-location clients. Ensure NAP consistency, GMB optimization, and local link acquisition
- Negotiate: Handle pricing conversations for guest posts, niche edits, and sponsored placements — know what a DR 50 post should cost vs. a DR 70 niche edit, and get the best deal without burning relationships
- Automate: Use AI tools to scale prospecting and personalize outreach at volume — think in systems, not just manual effort
- Track & Report: Manage campaigns in BuzzStream/Pitchbox, track link velocity, and report ROI metrics that clients actually care about
Must-Have Skills
- 2+ years in dedicated link building and outreach (not general SEO — we will verify this with specific questions)
- Hands-on experience with Ahrefs , SEMrush
- Proficiency in at least one outreach CRM: BuzzStream, Pitchbox , or similar
- Proven track record of links acquired — share your numbers: how many links/month, average DR, types of campaigns
- Experience with international clients (US/UK markets) or English-language outreach at scale
- Strong written English — your outreach emails are your product. Grammar, personalization, and subject lines must be sharp
- Knowledge of multiple link types: guest posts, niche edits, digital PR, keyword mentions, listicle insertions, brand mention reclamation, infographic outreach, broken link building, resource pages
- Experience with BrightLocal or similar for citation building and local SEO link acquisition
- Google Search Operators for advanced prospecting
- Comfortable with spreadsheets — VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, conditional formatting

- You’ve created and promoted linkable content assets (original research, infographics, industry studies) that earned 50+ backlinks organically
- Experience using AI tools for prospecting, outreach, personalization, or content hook generation
- You’ve worked with influencers — not just cold email, but genuine relationship building that leads to recurring link opportunities
- You understand link pricing markets across niches and can negotiate effectively
- Relevant certifications completed: SEMrush (Content-Led SEO, Digital PR, Backlink Management), Ahrefs Academy, BuzzStream University
- You have your own outreach templates, prospecting workflows, and systems that you’ve tested and refined
