About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Solar Capacity Estimator & Costing Engineer to handle solar project capacity assessment, estimation, costing, and techno-commercial support for rooftop and ground-mounted Solar PV projects.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze project requirements, site data, and drawings to estimate suitable Solar PV capacity.
Prepare project-wise BOQ/BOM, material estimation, costing, and techno-commercial quotations.
Calculate module, inverter, MMS, cable, electrical, and other project requirements.
Prepare detailed project cost estimates and evaluate vendor quotations.
Coordinate with Design, Sales, Procurement, and Project Execution teams.
Support techno-commercial proposals and identify cost optimization opportunities.
Review project specifications, drawings, and scope to ensure accurate estimation.
Maintain estimation templates, costing records, and project-wise MIS.
Support revisions in estimates based on design changes, site conditions, and customer requirements.
Desired Profile
Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering.
4+ years of experience in Solar EPC / Solar Estimation / Costing / Pre-Sales / Project Engineering.
Good knowledge of Solar PV systems, modules, inverters, MMS, cables, and electrical BoQ.
Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD and PVsyst/HelioScope will be an advantage.
Strong analytical, commercial, and costing skills with good attention to detail.
