Germanten Hospital is seeking a skilled and responsible Duty Medical Officer (DMO) to provide round-the-clock medical care and ensure efficient clinical operations. The candidate will play a key role in patient management, emergency care, and coordination with consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate medical care to patients in OPD, IPD, and emergency departments
- Perform initial assessment, diagnosis, and stabilization of patients
- Coordinate with consultants and specialists for further treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Handle emergency cases and ensure timely interventions
- Assist in ward rounds and follow-up care
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and clinical guidelines
Requirements:
- MBBS qualification with valid medical registration
- 1–3 years of clinical experience (freshers with strong clinical knowledge can also apply)
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including night duties
- Good communication and patient-handling skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in emergency or critical care settings
- Basic life support (BLS) / Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification is an added advantage
