*Equipment Setup & Calibration: Configure primary, secondary, and tertiary packing machines (such as Flow Wrap Food Packing Machine) to accommodate specific product dimensions and stretch film requirements.
*Machine Operation : Load food items and packing materials into automated or semi-automated wrapping machines, ensuring continuous and defect-free output
*Quality Assurance & Hygiene: Inspect wrapped packages for correct seals, proper labeling, and damage prevention. Ensure contact parts and wrappers are thoroughly cleaned to prevent contamination.
*Preventive Maintenance : Perform routine checks, clean sensors, lubricate moving parts, and carry out basic mechanical repairs to minimize line downtime.
Required Qualifications & Skills
*Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) guidelines for Packing Machine Operator - Food Industry or FOOD PROCESSING EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN standards
*Food Safety : Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintaining Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards.
