They care for patients’ teeth, gums, and mouth, ensuring overall dental hygiene and health. Key Responsibilities: Examine patients’ teeth, gums, and oral tissues Diagnose dental conditions using X-rays and other diagnostic tools. Perform procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns. Provide preventive care, including cleanings and fluoride treatments. Educate patients on oral hygiene and proper dental care. Prescribe medications such as antibiotics or pain relievers when needed. Maintain patient records and treatment plans Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Supervise dental assistants and hygienists (if applicable).
