We are looking for a candidate that share our passion of global electrifications and use of renewable energy source in daily life’s. Individual need to be creative, passionate, openminded and take ownership of company’s goals and objective, and most importantly carry positive CAN-DO attitude. In addition, candidate will be working in a close collaborative team of other electrical/electronics, mechanical, marketing and Founders. We expect the candidate to nurture creativity and innovation in product development. In addition, individual shall have good analytical skills in evaluating engineering test data to learn and make best judgements. In addition, individual should have the attitude to get hand dirty and not shy away from doing Hands-on-work throughout the product development cycle.
Role Responsibilities:
Leadership:
· Define project scope, requirements, budget, and timeline. Prioritize required work on projects
· Work distribution, managing and guiding Junior Electrical Engineers.
· Communicating with leadership team effectively with clear and precise results.
· Use engineer skills in performing calculation, following engineering best practices and sound judgements during product development.
· Create engineering processes and procedures to enable successful product launches.
· Conduct Design review with Internal and external reviewers
· Roughly 25% leadership, and 75% Individual contributor work
Individual Contributor:
· Ideation, designing, prototyping, and developing as per product requirements
· Architect and develop modular Embedded Code to port in to different project
· Document State machine diagram, flow charts to understand the system architecture
· Use Embedded RTOS to manage several complex tasks in the system
· Develop embedded C/C++ code in Eclipse environment IDE’s
· Test, analyze and develop innovative algorithms for predictive maintenance
· Write Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) custom characteristics and services to effectively communicate with an APP.
· Work closely with Software team to develop communication protocols, date collection from the device and transferring data to cloud for data analystics
- Develop Test methods, in some cases automated test cases to test the firmware code and support hardware engineers
- Use Debuggers, oscilloscopes, power supplies and other necessary electrical tools to debug the code for problem solving.
- Support service, and manufacturing for post launch support when needed
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
· Working Experience with ARM core Architecture like M0, M0+, M4 etc.
· Highly experienced in Embedded C, C++ coding as per MISRA standards
· Knowledgeable in Linker Scripts, Make files, Debugging using breakpoints
· Experienced in Communication peripherals like SPI, UART, I2C, CAN etc.
· Knowledge in Lithium-Ion battery management systems is a Plus
· Experienced in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocols, including writing custom services and characteristics according to project needs.
· Proficient in developing bootloader for OTA updates.
· Experience in Embedded security for data communication is a Plus.
· Attention to detail and dedication to thoroughness and engineering procedures
· Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals and best coding practices.
· Ability to understand electronics schematics is a must
· Designing circuits in schematic capture and PCB editors is a Plus
· Hands on aptitude – able to dive in and troubleshoot issues
· Ability to generate ideas in response to complex issues and execute on solutions
· Desire to work in a startup environment
· Cares about the world and wants to have an impact on it
Education:
· Minimum of Bachelor's in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
· M.Tech in Electronics or Computer science engineering preferred
· Post-graduation certifications is preferred
Experience:
· Minimum of 2 years of related experience in Product Development
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in Writing Embedded C, C++ on ARM core architectures
· Minimum 1 years of experience in BLE development
