Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Budgeting
Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Prepare long-term financial plans aligned with business objectives.
Monitor budget utilization and variance analysis.
Provide financial recommendations to senior management.
Financial Accounting & Reporting
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Review Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Costing & Profitability Analysis
Develop product costing models for manufacturing operations.
Analyze production costs, raw material consumption, and manufacturing efficiency.
Identify cost-saving opportunities to improve profitability.
Monitor product-wise and plant-wise profitability.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
Monitor daily cash flow and fund utilization.
Optimize receivables, payables, and inventory levels.
Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow reports.
Ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and expansion projects.
Banking & Treasury
Manage banking relationships and credit facilities.
Handle working capital limits, term loans, and banking documentation.
Prepare CMA data and financial information for lenders.
Support fundraising and capital expansion initiatives.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory regulations.
Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits.
Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and regulatory reports.
Liaise with auditors, consultants, and government authorities.
MIS & Financial Analysis
Prepare management reports and financial dashboards.
Analyze business performance and key financial indicators.
Present actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
Monitor KPIs related to profitability, collections, and operational efficiency.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement
Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting policies.
Drive ERP implementation and automation of finance processes.
Improve accounting systems and reporting efficiency.
Ensure adherence to SOPs and company policies.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team.
Allocate responsibilities and monitor performance.
Develop team capabilities through training and performance reviews.
Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualification
Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
CMA or MBA (Finance) with relevant manufacturing experience may also be considered.
Experience
10–18 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
Minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
Experience in manufacturing, building materials, cement, AAC Blocks, Dry Mix Mortar, or construction materials industry is preferred.
