Role Overview
We are looking for a highly driven SEO Intern who can help build organic visibility from scratch. This role is execution-focused and suited for someone who wants hands-on startup exposure.
You will work directly on improving search rankings, building content authority, and generating inbound leads.
Key Responsibilities1. Keyword Research & Strategy
- Identify high-intent keywords in education, B.Com career growth, study management, exam planning, and student productivity.
- Map keywords to content clusters and landing pages.
- Create a 90-day SEO content roadmap.
2. Content Creation & Optimization
- Write 2–3 SEO-optimized blog articles per week.
- Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers, and internal linking.
- Improve readability and search intent alignment.
- Work with AI tools responsibly to enhance content quality.
3. On-Page SEO
- Implement on-page best practices.
- Structure content for topic authority.
- Improve internal linking architecture.
- Basic schema and formatting improvements.
4. Technical & Performance Tracking
- Use Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Track keyword rankings and organic growth.
- Identify pages needing improvement.
- Submit weekly performance reports.
5. Outreach & Backlinks (Basic)
- Support backlink outreach campaigns.
- Identify relevant websites for collaboration.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs/Ubersuggest/SEMrush (even free versions).
- Strong written English.
- Analytical mindset.
- Self-driven and accountable.
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Experience writing education or career-related content.
- WordPress or CMS familiarity.
- Previously worked on a blog or website that generated traffic.
Performance Expectations
By the end of 3 months:
- 30+ quality articles published.
- Clear keyword ranking growth.
