About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive business development for Solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) Projects across Kollam district. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in solar infrastructure development, strong market knowledge, and the ability to generate and convert sales opportunities into successful project executions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand the Solar EPC business across Kollam district.
- Identify and acquire new residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.
- Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and technical discussions to understand project requirements.
- Prepare and present project proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.
- Coordinate with the technical and project execution teams for seamless project implementation.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and channel partners.
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and emerging business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, CRM updates, and business forecasts.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Solar EPC / Solar Infrastructure Development (Mandatory).
- Graduate in any discipline. Engineering background will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of solar rooftop and ground-mounted EPC projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Good presentation and proposal preparation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidate must be from Kollam District.
- Existing network within the solar, electrical, construction, or infrastructure sector will be preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
- Must possess a valid driving licence and own two-wheeler.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Based on experience and interview performance)
