About the Role
Sanskar Construction Company is seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, execution, resource management, quality assurance, cost control, contract administration, variation management, and timely project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
The candidate must possess strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage construction projects throughout the project lifecycle.
· Develop project execution strategies, schedules, and resource plans.
· Ensure projects are completed within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
· Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when required.
· Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
· Manage project budgets, cost control, billing, cash flow, and financial performance.
· Review and approve BOQs, estimates, work orders, and project documentation.
· Supervise procurement activities and ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
· Ensure compliance with CPWD, PWD, DSR, IS Codes, and applicable construction regulations.
· Conduct project review meetings and prepare progress reports for management.
· Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
· Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control procedures, and company policies.
· Lead, mentor, and develop project teams to achieve organizational objectives.
· Review, verify, and approve project deviations, extra items, substitute items, and variation orders as per contractual requirements.
· Prepare and evaluate rate analysis for non-scheduled and extra items.
· Coordinate with clients, consultants, and authorities for approval of revised specifications, quantities, and scope changes.
· Assess cost and time implications of deviations, substitutions, and additional works.
· Monitor project changes and maintain proper documentation for claims, variation orders, and contract amendments.
· Ensure timely preparation and submission of deviation statements, extra item proposals, and revised BOQs.
· Manage contract claims, dispute resolution, and project correspondence related to variations and additional work.
· Maintain records of approved deviations, extra items, substitutions, and change orders for billing and audit purposes.
Qualification
· Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Civil Engineering.
· Master's Degree or Project Management Certification (PMP/PRINCE2) will be an added advantage.
Experience
· Minimum 10–12 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or real estate projects.
· Proven experience in handling large-scale residential, commercial, institutional, or government projects.
· Experience in project planning, execution, billing, estimation, contract management, variation management, and claims administration.
· Strong knowledge of CPWD, PWD, DSR, EPC, Item Rate, and Lump Sum Contracts.
