A Physical Education Teacher (PET) develops and implements, daily, school-wide, and competitive sports programs, ensuring student safety and skill development. Key responsibilities include planning curriculum-aligned lessons, organizing athletic events (e.g., Annual Sports Day), maintaining equipment, and assessing student fitness levels. - Instruction: Teach sports techniques, rules, and health education to students.
- Safety: Ensure a secure environment during all physical activities, including proper use of equipment.
- Event Coordination: Organize intramural/extramural sports events, field days, and fitness camps.
- Assessment: Track student progress in motor skills and physical fitness.
- Mentorship: Encourage student participation in inter-school and national-level sports competitions.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain inventory of sports equipment, update student records, and prepare reports. Human Kinetics +4
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed), Bachelor’s in Sports Science, or Diploma in Physical Education.
- Certifications: Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
