Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Manual Tester to join our team. This role is ideal for freshers or candidates with up to 6 months of experience who are eager to build a career in software testing.
Responsibilities
- Understand project requirements and functional specifications.
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
- Collaborate with developers and senior QA team members to ensure product quality.
- Report testing progress and issues to the team.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of manual testing concepts.
- Familiarity with writing test cases and reporting defects.
- Basic understanding of web applications and APIs (preferred).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of Jira, Bugzilla, or similar tools is an added advantage.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, BCA, MCA, B.Tech, or a related field.
- Freshers or candidates with up to 6 months of QA/Manual Testing experience.
- QA training or internship experience will be an advantage.
