Job Summary:
We are looking out for a Solar Sales Executive to handle qualified inbound leads, explain solar solutions and subsidy schemes to customer, conducts site assessments, prepares proposals, and closes rooftop solar sales while coordinating with internal teams for successful project execution.
Job Description:
- Engage with qualified leads shared by inbound sales team and conduct detailed discussions to explain technical aspects of solar PV systems
- Explain PM Surya Ghar Yojna, subsidy benefits, net-metering process, and the company’s solar solutions clearly to prospective customers
- Build and maintain trust-based customer relationships through regular follow-ups and professional engagement
- Visit prospective customer sites to perform initial feasibility checks including roof space availability, shading analysis, meter location, and orientation
- Coordinate with technical and engineering teams for detailed site surveys and technical feasibility assessments
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, system sizing, BOQs, ROI calculations, and present them to customers
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms and close sales in line with assigned targets
- Assist customers with government portal registration, subsidy documentation, and approval processes under applicable schemes
- Follow up with customers for payment collection, subsidy status, and scheme approvals
- Coordinate internally with design, procurement, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, site details, customer interactions, and pipeline status in CRM
- Collaborate with the marketing team for local promotions, campaigns, and awareness activities
- Stay updated on solar industry trends, competitor offerings, and policy or regulatory changes
- Provide post-sales support and coordinate with service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and referrals
Skills & Competencies:
- Basic understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, structures, and net metering
- Strong communication and client-handling skills
- Ability to read basic electrical drawings and layouts
- Commercial awareness and cost sensitivity
- MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM knowledge
- Willingness to travel for site visits

. Proficient in English, Hindi, and Telugu (spoken and written)
