Job Title: Barista
Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, enjoys interacting with customers, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment. Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory—we are willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company standards.
- Take customer orders accurately and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station, seating area, and equipment.
- Operate the cash register/POS system and handle customer payments.
- Replenish ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or in the food & beverage industry is preferred but not required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation is a plus.
- Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and shifts.
- Well-groomed and professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Minimum: High School/12th Pass (preferred).
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Basic English and local language communication skills are an advantage.
