Job Summary
The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory planning, stock control, demand forecasting, warehouse management, and inventory accuracy across all QSR outlets and central kitchens. The role ensures optimum stock availability, minimizes wastage, controls food costs, and supports smooth supply chain operations through effective inventory management practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Planning & Control
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels across all outlets, warehouses, and central kitchens.
- Ensure timely replenishment of food ingredients, packaging materials, consumables, and operational supplies.
- Develop inventory plans based on sales forecasts, consumption trends, and business requirements.
- Track stock movement, inventory turnover, and product consumption patterns.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock verification and reconciliation.
Stock Audits & Reconciliation
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory audits.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure physical inventory matches system inventory records.
- Prepare variance reports and recommend preventive measures.
- Coordinate with Finance during internal and external audits.
Supply Chain Coordination
- Work closely with Procurement and Operations teams to ensure uninterrupted stock availability.
- Monitor stock transfers between warehouses, central kitchens, and outlets.
- Support demand planning and replenishment processes.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Ensure smooth flow of inventory across the supply chain network.
Warehouse & Store Management
- Oversee receiving, storage, issuance, and movement of inventory.
- Ensure proper storage conditions and stock organization.
- Implement FIFO (First In First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry First Out) practices.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company standards.
- Monitor warehouse utilization and stock handling procedures.
Cost & Waste Control
- Monitor food cost, packaging cost, and inventory carrying costs.
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
- Minimize stock losses due to wastage, damage, expiry, or pilferage.
- Analyze inventory reports and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Support profitability through effective inventory control measures.
Reporting & MIS
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/POS systems.
- Track inventory KPIs and present reports to management.
- Provide inventory insights to support operational and business decisions.
Team Management
- Supervise Inventory Executives, Storekeepers, and Warehouse Staff.
- Train team members on inventory management procedures and SOPs.
- Ensure adherence to inventory policies and operational standards.
- Monitor team productivity and performance.
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in Inventory Management, Store Operations, or Supply Chain.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in QSR, Restaurant, F&B, Retail, or Hospitality industry.
- Experience managing inventory across multiple outlets is preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
