The Opportunity
We are looking for a confident and motivated Business Development Executive to join our growing sales team.
This is not a traditional call-centre role.
You will be responsible for contacting business owners, generating appointments, building relationships, and closing suitable opportunities over the phone.
The ideal candidate enjoys speaking with people, handling objections, and helping businesses discover better solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to business owners across the UK
- Generate qualified appointments for the sales team
- Present Settle's services clearly and professionally
- Build relationships with decision-makers and business owners
- Identify business needs and sales opportunities
- Follow up leads through phone, email, WhatsApp, and CRM activities
- Manage and maintain accurate records within the CRM system
- Handle objections confidently and professionally
- Close suitable opportunities directly where appropriate
- Consistently achieve and exceed activity and sales targets
- Work closely with management to improve scripts, campaigns, and sales performance
Requirements
- Previous experience in outbound sales, telesales, appointment setting, or business development
- Excellent spoken English
- Confident telephone manner
- Strong objection-handling skills
- Ability to build rapport quickly
- Target-driven and self-motivated
- Comfortable working remotely
- Strong organisational and follow-up skills
- Experience using CRM systems is advantageous
- Experience selling B2B services is desirable but not essential
