Job Title: Solar Installation Coordinator

Job Summary
The Solar Installation Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring solar photovoltaic (PV) installation projects from initiation to completion. The role ensures that installations are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination
- Coordinate all activities related to solar panel installation projects.
- Schedule site surveys, material deliveries, and installation activities.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to installation schedules.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, contractors, and internal departments.
- Site Management
- Conduct or assist in site assessments and project planning.
- Ensure site readiness before installation begins.
- Verify installation quality and compliance with technical specifications.
- Resource & Material Management
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, and related equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and material utilization.
- Ensure availability of required tools and equipment at project sites.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain project records, installation reports, permits, and completion documents.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical standards, and local authority requirements.
- Prepare and submit project progress reports.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution.
- Address customer concerns and provide project status updates.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and quality project delivery.
- Quality & Safety Control
- Ensure all installation activities comply with company quality standards.
- Monitor adherence to workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct periodic inspections and resolve installation issues promptly.
- Team Coordination
- Coordinate and supervise installation teams and subcontractors.
- Assign tasks and monitor workforce productivity.
- Support training and development initiatives for installation staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in solar project coordination, electrical installation, or related fields.
- Knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical components, and installation practices.
- Familiarity with local electrical regulations and safety standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and reporting systems.
- Valid driving license preferred.
