Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Plating Supervisor to oversee and coordinate our daily plating operations, specifically focusing on Nickel, Brass, and Zinc plating. The ideal candidate will manage the production team, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and maintain efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and coordinate daily plating operations (electroplating, anodizing, chemical plating, etc.)
· Ensure plating processes meet quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements
· Monitor bath chemistry, temperatures, current density, and cycle times
· Schedule work orders and assign tasks to plating technicians and operators
· Train, guide, and evaluate plating staff on proper procedures and safety practices
· Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
· Troubleshoot plating defects and process issues; implement corrective actions
· Maintain production records, quality documentation, and reports
· Coordinate maintenance and calibration of plating equipment and tanks
· Work closely with Quality Control, Engineering, and Production teams
· Enforce housekeeping and 5S standards in the plating area
Requirements & Skills
- Education: Diploma, ITI, or Science degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical fields.
- Experience: 2 to 5+ years working on industrial plating or surface finishing lines, with prior supervisory experience.
- Technical Competence: Deep knowledge of Nickel/brass/zinc plating, bath titration, and defect analysis tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, team management, shift planning, and basic computer reporting skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.68 per month
