Ltd. is a fast-growing manufacturer of Nano Modified Smart Paints & Coatings — including Star Cool Shield, India's highest SRI-rated heat reflective and waterproof roof coating. Our products are trusted by builders, architects, contractors, and industrial clients across India. We are expanding our sales team and looking for a sharp, field-ready Business Development Executive who can drive revenue through both telecalling and on-ground client engagement.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for identifying, approaching, and converting prospects across the construction, infrastructure, and real estate ecosystem. This is a hybrid sales role — you will work the phone as confidently as you work the field.
Key Responsibilities
Generate leads via cold calling, referrals, site visits, and channel partner networks Make structured telecalls daily to architects, contractors, builders, dealers, and project consultants Conduct field visits to project sites, distributor offices, and client meetings as required Pitch StarShield's product range and solutions; prepare and follow up on proposals and quotations Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers in the construction and infrastructure segment Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets consistently Coordinate with the technical team for site assessments, demos, and after-sales support Maintain accurate records of calls, visits, and pipeline in CRM or daily reports Provide ground-level market and competitor feedback to the management team
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in Civil Engineering / Architecture / any stream OR diploma/experience in paints, construction materials, or building products
- Good communication skills in Hindi and English Basic knowledge of construction terminology — waterproofing, roof coating, RCC, masonry
- Confident, persuasive, and target-driven
- Basic computer skills — Excel, WhatsApp Business, email
- Preferred Background Experience in selling paints, waterproofing, construction chemicals, or building materials or science background
- Prior telecalling or inside sales role in construction/real estate sector
