We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in industrial automation and Special Purpose Machines (SPM). The candidate should have hands on experience in designing machine assemblies, preparing manufacturing drawings, and supporting machine development from concept to commissioning.
Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience : 2–3 years of experience in Industrial Automation, SPM, Robotics, or Machine Design.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Solid Edge and/or SolidWorks.
- Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, assembly design, and 2D detailing.
- Experience in designing machine structures, fabrication parts and sheet metal components.
- Knowledge of mechanical components such as linear guides, ball screws, bearings, gearboxes, couplings, motors, and pneumatic systems. Ability to prepare manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
- Understanding of material selection and manufacturing processes including machining, welding, laser cutting, bending, and surface finishing.
- Basic knowledge of machine safety standards in industrial automation systems.
- Good understanding of pneumatic circuits and mechanical motion systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot design issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
