About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and result-oriented Academic Counselor to join our Chennai team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students, understanding their educational and career goals, and recommending suitable courses and programs. The role requires excellent communication, counseling, and sales skills to ensure a positive student experience while achieving admission targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students regarding courses, career opportunities, and educational programs.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to generate admissions and conversions.
- Follow up with leads generated through digital marketing campaigns, referrals, and other sources.
- Understand students' requirements and recommend appropriate courses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students and parents.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Address student queries professionally and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in promotional events, seminars, webinars, and educational fairs when required.
- Stay updated on company programs, policies, and industry trends.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
