Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled DO-254 Engineer with expertise in airborne electronic hardware development and certification for safety-critical aerospace systems.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with DO-254 hardware lifecycle processes, FPGA/ASIC development, verification & validation, and avionics certification activities.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace and defense programs involving mission-critical hardware systems.
Key Responsibilities: DO-254 Hardware Development & Certification
- Develop airborne electronic hardware in compliance with DO-254 standards.
- Execute hardware development activities throughout the complete DO-254 lifecycle.
- Generate and maintain certification documentation including:
- PHAC (Plan for Hardware Aspects of Certification)
- Hardware Design Data (HDD)
- Verification and Validation Documentation
- Compliance and Certification Artifacts.
Design, Verification & Validation
- Perform requirements capture, analysis, and validation.
- Develop detailed hardware designs and implementation plans.
- Conduct hardware verification and validation (V&V) activities.
- Ensure end-to-end traceability between requirements, design, implementation, and verification results.
- Support certification audits and compliance reviews.
FPGA/ASIC Development
- Support FPGA and ASIC design activities.
- Ensure compliance with avionics and safety-critical hardware standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver certified hardware solutions.
