- Produce high-quality code and work remotely with international clients
- Liaise with other team members, supervisors and clients as needed
- Adapt to changes in relevant technologies, coding standards and so on to continue to provide up-to-the-minute coding solutions to clients.
- At least one years (2+ years preferred) of work experience as a web developer or software engineer
- Tertiary qualifications in computer science or information technology (or strongly related discipline)
- Strong PHP coding skills with relevant hands-on experience
- Exposure to any MVC architecture an advantage (Codeigniter, CakePHP, Laravel, Zend etc.)
- Substantial Wordpress skills are an advantage
- Sound Javascript skills
- Database expertise including both SQL and No SQL solutions
- Unit testing experience
- Sound knowledge of git
- Clear and effective written English
- Willingness to learn other programming technologies such as Node.js, Express, Next.js, MongoDB.
