Job Title: Retail Store Manager
Location: Mohali
We are looking for an experienced, confident, and highly responsible Retail Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our saree retail store. The ideal candidate should have 3–4+ years of experience in retail store management, preferably in ethnic wear, sarees, or fashion retail, and should be capable of managing the store independently while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee complete store operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and store sales targets.
- Deliver an excellent customer shopping experience and build long-term customer relationships.
- Maintain attractive visual merchandising and ensure the store is well-organized at all times.
- Manage inventory, stock replenishment, stock audits, and coordinate with vendors when required.
- Handle billing, cash management, daily sales reports, and store documentation.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Recruit, train, and monitor staff performance while maintaining discipline and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, store standards, and operational procedures.
- Analyze sales performance and implement strategies to improve revenue and customer footfall.
- Take ownership of the store and independently handle operational challenges with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar retail management role.
- Experience in sarees, ethnic wear, fashion, or apparel retail will be preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident, proactive, and customer-focused personality.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Good knowledge of inventory management, billing systems, and retail operations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Sales-driven mindset with the ability to achieve business targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer operations is an added advantage.
