We are seeking an experienced Planning & Material Manager with one of our long-standing and esteemed clients having expertise in the defense sector to oversee production planning, material availability, inventory control, and supply chain coordination for radar systems and sub‑systems. The role ensures timely manufacturing, minimizes shortages, and supports operational efficiency
Position: Planning & Material Manager
Location: Manesar, Haryana
Experience: 7+ years
Education Preference: · B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial/ Production Engineering, or Supply Chain
Key Responsibilities:
· Build and manage production schedules, monitor progress, and resolve bottlenecks
· Ensure timely availability of raw materials, electronic/mechanical parts, and consumables
· Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and operations for smooth supply chain flow
· Track inventory levels, shortages, and material movement with ERP systems (SAP/Priority)
· Drive process improvements and generate MIS reports for planning and material management
Required attributes:
Candidate Profile
7+ years of experience in production/material planning (defense/electronics preferred)
Strong ERP knowledge (SAP/Priority) and PMP certification desirable
Excellent planning, coordination, and problem‑solving skills
