Role Overview:
The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and developing new business opportunities within the assigned territory or product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of specialty chemicals and an ability to translate customer needs into effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as per company objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and distributors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets (Personal Care, Home Care, Pharma, etc.).
- Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and demonstrations for customers.
- Collaborate with the R&D and Technical Service teams to provide customer support and customized solutions.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and pricing to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars to promote the company’s products and brand.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to company credit policies.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Technical understanding of specialty chemicals or cosmetic ingredients.
- Proven ability to manage sales cycles and achieve targets.
- Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving capability.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Self-motivated and result-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. MBA in Marketing is an added advantage.
- Languages: Fluent in English and regional languages as applicable.
