Sharnam Architects is a multidisciplinary architecture and interior design firm delivering innovative residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented Draughtsman to join our team and transform design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural and interior working drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings.
- Prepare furniture layouts, electrical layouts, plumbing layouts, ceiling layouts, and flooring layouts.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, site engineers, and consultants to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Revise drawings based on design changes, site conditions, and client requirements.
- Maintain drawing standards, layer management, and documentation as per company guidelines.
- Prepare BOQs and material schedules whenever required.
- Ensure all drawings are complete, coordinated, and issued within project timelines.
- Maintain proper records and revisions of all project drawings.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory).
- Good understanding of architectural and interior detailing.
- Knowledge of construction drawings and execution details.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other drafting/modeling software is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of BOQ preparation and site coordination.
- Familiarity with building materials and construction methods.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in architectural or interior design drafting.
