About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and skilled MERN Stack Developer with 1+ year of hands-on experience in building modern web applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, along with the ability to develop scalable, high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Design and implement responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
- Work with version control systems such as Git and GitHub.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills
- 1+ year of experience in MERN Stack development.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
- Hands-on experience with React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
- Experience in building and consuming REST APIs.
- Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and responsive web design.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub and version control workflows.
- Basic understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
- Knowledge of database design and query optimization.
- Understanding of application deployment and hosting concepts.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Redux, Context API, or state management libraries.
- Familiarity with TypeScript.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications will be considered an added advantage.
