Position: Site Supervisor
Department: Execution / Site Operations
Reports To: Primary Reporting Head / Project Head
Role Objective
To supervise site work, ensure execution matches approved designs, manage labour and materials, track project progress, and maintain proper communication and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Handover & Study
- Collect final drawings, BOQ, timeline, and 3D designs.
- Confirm that all files are the latest approved versions.
- Attend the project handover meeting.
- Maintain a Site Study Book with all site details, changes, and updates.
- Keep all project documents properly updated.
2. Site Supervision
- Visit assigned sites on time every day.
- Check that work is done according to approved 2D drawings and 3D designs.
- Identify site issues or design mismatches and report them immediately.
- Do not make design changes without approval.
- Follow up on revised drawings when required.
3. Timeline Management
- Ensure work follows the approved project schedule.
- Set daily targets for labour and subcontractors.
- Report delays and reasons immediately to the concerned Head.
4. Communication & Reporting
- Follow the proper reporting hierarchy.
- Submit daily site updates, photos, progress, and issues.
- Update the Project Coordinator and concerned Department Head regularly.
- Communicate with clients only after approval from the Primary Reporting Head.
- Do not make commitments to clients without approval.
5. Expense & Financial Tracking
- Record daily labour, material, and other site expenses.
- Get required approvals before spending company funds.
- Collect GST bills for material purchases.
- Share bills and expense details with the concerned teams.
- Calculate the expected next-day site expenses.
6. Work & Payment Monitoring
- Check whether physical work progress matches the payment received.
- Report payment pending/received status.
- Report any mismatch between work completed and payment collected.
- Prepare required action plans when there is a mismatch.
7. Labour & Contractor Management
- Manage labour and ensure proper productivity.
- Monitor contractor work quality and timelines.
- Report poor performance or false reporting.
- Handle site-level labour issues and execution problems.
- Maintain professional behaviour with labour, contractors, vendors, clients, and team members.
- Maintain confidentiality of company and project information.
8. Material & Logistics
- Coordinate material transportation and delivery.
- Check material quantity and quality against the order.
- Coordinate labour availability, accommodation, food, and other requirements as instructed.
- Report additional work or client-requested changes before starting.
9. Final Inspection & Handover
- Conduct final site inspection with the concerned Design/Project Head.
- Ensure all pending and defective works are completed.
- Verify final bills and expenses.
- Submit As-Built information and all site documents.
- Provide expense details for Profit & Loss analysis.
- Ensure safety standards are followed at the site.
Success Metrics
- 100% execution according to approved drawings and 3D designs.
- Zero avoidable design–site discrepancies.
- Proper Work–Payment Parity.
- 100% adherence to reporting and approval hierarchy.
- 100% daily reporting through the required channels.
- Regular monitoring of labour productivity, site progress, quality, and expenses.
Pay: ₹10,145.69 - ₹25,000.00 per month
