1. Role Summary
We are seeking a senior IT Services Delivery Manager with strong experience in BFSI programs, data engineering platforms, and large-scale transformation initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end service delivery, program governance, stakeholder management, and operational excellence across data and analytics engagements. Exposure to AI/ML-driven solutions will be an added advantage.
This role requires a balance of delivery leadership, technical depth in modern data platforms, and strong commercial acumen.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Delivery & Program Management
Own end-to-end delivery of BFSI technology programs (Data, Analytics, Regulatory, Risk, Digital).
Drive execution across multi-vendor and multi-technology environments.
Establish delivery governance, RAID management, and KPI tracking.
Ensure adherence to SLAs, cost, quality, and timelines.
Manage change requests, scope management, and client escalations.
B. Data Engineering Leadership
Oversee implementation and modernization of data platforms (Cloud Data Lakes, Lakehouse, EDW).
Lead teams working on ETL/ELT, big data, real-time streaming, and regulatory reporting.
Govern data quality, lineage, metadata management, and data governance frameworks.
Ensure performance optimization and cost efficiency of data pipelines.
C. Stakeholder & Client Management
Interface with CXOs, CIOs, CDOs, and senior business stakeholders.
Conduct steering committee reviews and executive reporting.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Drive customer satisfaction and account growth.
D. Team & Operational Management
Lead large distributed teams (50–150 members).
Mentor delivery managers, architects, and technical leads.
Workforce planning, utilization tracking, and margin management.
Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
E. AI / Advanced Analytics Exposure (Nice to Have)
Exposure to AI-driven data platforms, GenAI use cases, and automation.
Understanding of ML pipelines, model lifecycle management, or AI-led observability.
Experience integrating AI with BFSI analytics or decision systems is a plus.
3. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology; Master’s degree preferred.
16–22 years of overall IT experience.
Minimum 8+ years in delivery leadership roles.
Strong BFSI domain knowledge (Core Banking, Risk, Compliance, Regulatory Reporting, Payments, Lending, Wealth, etc.).
Experience in data engineering ecosystems (Cloud + On-Prem).
Proven track record managing multi-million-dollar programs.
Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and ITIL practices.
