Site Supervisor

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role requires strong leadership skills, hands-on construction knowledge, and the ability to coordinate effectively between site teams, subcontractors, and project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day site activities, ensuring work is carried out according to project plans, specifications, and schedules
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, laborers, and site personnel, assigning tasks and monitoring performance
- Enforce site safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements
- Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to building codes
- Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and documentation of site activities
- Manage material deliveries, equipment usage, and on-site inventory to avoid delays
- Identify and resolve on-site issues, conflicts, or delays in a timely manner
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to communicate progress and address concerns
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings with site crews
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety standards at all times
- Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Support scheduling and sequencing of trades to maintain project timelines
- Monitor labor productivity and report on budget and resource utilization
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of minimum experience in a site supervision or similar construction leadership role
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Working knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
- Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with site management/reporting tools (e.g., MS Office, Procore, or similar)
