Designer cum Merchandiser – Footwear

Role
Own the complete lifecycle of a footwear article—from concept and design to sampling, costing, production, and final dispatch. Coordinate between buyers, sourcing, sampling, and production to ensure timely execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop commercially viable footwear designs based on market trends.
- Prepare tech packs, specifications, BOMs, and costing sheets.
- Coordinate sampling, fit corrections, and approvals.
- Source materials and liaise with vendors for timely procurement.
- Manage buyer communication, sample submissions, and revisions.
- Track Time & Action (T&A) plans to ensure on-time production.
- Coordinate with production and QC to maintain quality standards.
- Finalize packaging, labels, barcodes, and maintain article documentation.
Requirements
- 2+ years in footwear design/merchandising with a manufacturer, export house, or brand.
- Strong knowledge of footwear construction, materials, and components.
- Experience in tech packs, costing, BOM, and production coordination.
- Proficiency in CorelDRAW/Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop and MS Excel.
- Good communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
- Diploma/Degree in Footwear Design/Technology (FDDI, CLRI, NIFT, or equivalent preferred).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
