As a Travel Consultant, you will understand customer requirements, recommend suitable destinations and travel options, prepare customized travel plans and quotations, and assist customers throughout the booking process.

Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer travel requirements, preferences, budget, and expectations.
- Recommend suitable destinations, hotels, transportation, and holiday packages.
- Prepare customized travel itineraries, quotations, and package details.
- Explain package inclusions, exclusions, pricing, and booking terms to customers.
- Handle customer inquiries through calls, email, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with potential customers and assist in converting inquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Coordinate hotel, cab, sightseeing, and other travel arrangements with travel partners.
- Assist customers with booking modifications, cancellations, and other travel-related requests.
- Ensure all booking information and customer details are accurately maintained.
- Coordinate with internal sales and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of bookings.
- Follow up with customers before, during, and after their travel.
- Address customer concerns and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Build positive and long-term relationships with customers.
- Stay updated with destinations, hotels, travel packages, seasonal offers, and tourism trends.
- Work toward individual and team targets for customer satisfaction, bookings, and revenue.
Required Skills & Qualifications

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer-handling and interpersonal skills.
- Good convincing and negotiation abilities.
- Basic knowledge of computers, MS Office, email, and internet research.

- Internship or training experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, or customer service.
- Knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations.
- Familiarity with hotel, flight, cab, or holiday package bookings.
- Basic knowledge of travel booking platforms or GDS systems.
- Experience preparing travel itineraries or quotations during an internship or academic project.
- Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh and North India destinations is an advantage.
