Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior SEO Executive who is eager to learn and grow in the field of search engine optimization. The candidate will assist in executing SEO strategies to improve website rankings, organic traffic, and online visibility for multiple client projects.
Key Responsibilities
On-Page SEO
- Assist in keyword research and mapping for websites
- Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers, URLs, and internal linking
- Implement basic on-page SEO recommendations
- Coordinate with content and design teams for SEO-friendly pages
Technical SEO (Basic)
- Assist in website audits using tools like Google Search Console and SEO tools
- Identify basic technical issues such as broken links, page speed issues, indexing errors
- Help with XML sitemap submissions and robots.txt checks
Content & SEO Support
- Assist in optimizing blogs, landing pages, and website content
- Ensure content follows SEO best practices
- Maintain keyword tracking sheets and content calendars
Off-Page SEO
- Support backlink building activities
- Assist in listing submissions, citations, and outreach tasks
- Monitor backlink profiles
Reporting & Analysis
- Track keyword rankings and organic traffic
- Prepare weekly/monthly SEO performance reports
- Monitor competitors and industry trends
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts (on-page, off-page, technical SEO)
- Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or SEO tools
- Good written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new SEO updates
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Experience with WordPress websites
- Understanding of local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization
- Internship or certification in digital marketing/SEO
