Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to work from our T. Nagar outlet and manage the complete accounting operations of the business. The role includes handling accounts for our Pune factory and all branch outlets. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Tally Prime, GST, TDS, inventory accounting, banking, financial reporting, and multi-branch accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete accounting in Tally Prime.
- Handle accounts for the Pune factory and branch outlets in Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore.
- Consolidate accounts from all business locations and prepare financial reports.
- Record and verify Purchase, Sales, Receipt, Payment, Journal, and Contra vouchers.
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and MIS reports.
- Perform Bank Reconciliation (BRS).
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Maintain inventory accounting and reconcile stock records.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and tax consultants.
- Monitor customer outstanding collections and supplier payments.
- Assist management with budgeting, cash flow planning, and financial reporting.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end account closing.
Qualifications
- B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5-10 years of accounting experience.
- Hands-on experience in Tally Prime is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, wholesale, or distribution businesses is preferred.
- Experience in multi-branch accounting is highly preferred.
