Position: Secondary School Teacher – Information Technology (IT)
Location: School Campus
Reporting To: Principal / Academic Coordinator
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Information Technology (IT) Teacher for Secondary School to deliver engaging lessons, develop students' digital skills, and foster an interest in technology and computer applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver IT lessons as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach computer fundamentals, programming basics, digital literacy, and emerging technologies.
- Conduct practical sessions in the computer laboratory.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and progress reports.
- Monitor and evaluate student performance and provide academic guidance.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and academic activities.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of computer lab resources.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- B.Ed. preferred.
- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in a school setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of computer applications, networking, programming, and digital tools.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
Skills Required
- Subject expertise in Information Technology.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and educational technology tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students effectively.
