A Dispatch In-Charge: Manage end-to-end dispatch operations; coordinate with Production, Logistics & Sales; ensure accurate documentation (e-way bills, LR); maintain dispatch MIS and compliance records
oversees daily logistical and warehouse operations, ensuring outgoing goods are shipped efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities include managing dispatch teams, coordinating with transport agencies, verifying paperwork (invoices, E-way bills), and ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining strict compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Coordinate the daily dispatch schedule, ensuring vehicles are loaded correctly and shipments leave the facility on time. [1]
- Documentation & Compliance: Oversee the generation of invoices, delivery dockets, packing lists, and E-way bills.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and manage warehouse and dispatch staff to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Transport Coordination: Liaise with transport vendors and logistics partners to negotiate freight rates, track vehicle availability, and arrange load-outs.
- Issue Resolution: Handle escalations regarding delayed shipments, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies.
- Performance Tracking: Prepare daily and weekly reports on dispatch efficiency, transit times, and transport costs to optimize logistics.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related business field.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in dispatch execution, logistics, or finished goods inventory management.
- Technical Proficiencies: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), inventory tracking software, and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities, sharp attention to detail, and effective communication skills to manage both field teams and customers
- Experience in dispatch/logistics in manufacturing; Knowledge of e-way bill, GST compliance & vehicle coordination
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
