Business Development Manager

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to lead our sales team, own our monthly revenue targets, and strengthen relationships with our clients. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can motivate a team, sharpen our sales process, and consistently uncover new opportunities to grow the business. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate the entire sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Own individual target completion for each team member set goals, track progress, and guide them to reach their numbers.
- Design, implement, and manage effective sales workflows and processes.
- Monitor the day-to-day performance of every sales team member and provide regular coaching and feedback.
- Ensure the CRM is consistently and accurately updated across the team.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customers receive prompt, efficient, and high-quality service.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to bring in more revenue.
- Continuously improve and optimise the sales process to increase conversions and efficiency.
- Handle client escalations and ensure overall customer satisfaction with the company's work.
- Report on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts to management.
Requirements
- Proven, solid experience in sales a strong track record is a must.
- Prior experience managing or leading a sales team is strongly preferred.
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong sales negotiation skills.
- Strong management and interpersonal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools and sales workflow management.
- Ability to analyse sales data, spot opportunities, and drive process improvements.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable leading from the front.
Compensation
- Base Salary: Rs. 25,000 – Rs. 40,000 per month (depending on experience).
- Commission / Incentives: Attractive performance-based commission with earning potential of Rs. 1.5 lakh to Rs. 3 lakh.
