Customs Clearance Executive

Job Summary:
The Customs Clearance Executive will be responsible for managing customs clearance processes, documentation, regulatory compliance, and coordination for import and export shipments. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of customs regulations, ICEGATE, Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill procedures, and freight forwarding operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customs clearance processes for import and export shipments.
- Prepare and file Bills of Entry (BOE) and Shipping Bills.
- Verify shipping documents such as Invoices, Packing Lists, BL/AWB, Certificates of Origin (COO), and other related documents.
- Perform documentation filing through ICEGATE/EDI systems.
- Coordinate with customs authorities, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and clients.
- Calculate and follow up on customs duties, IGST, cess, and other applicable charges.
- Monitor shipment clearance status and provide timely updates to clients.
- Ensure compliance with DGFT guidelines, Customs Act regulations, and EXIM policies.
- Handle cargo examinations, assessments, and customs-related queries.
- Minimize demurrage, detention charges, and clearance delays through proactive follow-up.
- Maintain daily MIS reports and customs clearance records.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience in the CHA, Freight Forwarding, or Logistics industry preferred.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in Customs Clearance, CHA, Freight Forwarding, or Logistics operations.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
