Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning: Develop, monitor, and adjust daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand, machine capacity, and raw material availability.
- Material Management: Ensure timely procurement of raw materials and oversee inventory levels of Work-in-Progress (WIP) and finished goods to prevent production delays.
- Capacity Utilization: Evaluate current production methods, calculate cycle times, and optimize manpower and machinery to minimize waste.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as a bridge between the sales, quality, procurement, and shop-floor teams to ensure seamless execution and handle delivery-related queries.
- Reporting & KPIs: Track production performance, generate daily MIS reports, and identify bottlenecks while recommending process improvements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering
- Experience: Typically 7–15 years of proven experience in production planning and control within manufacturing, heavy industry, or assembly line environments.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems ( SAP ) and strong proficiency in MS Excel.
- Analytical & Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead teams and resolve shop-floor issues under pressure.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
