Job Description – Production Supervisor (Mechanical)
We are looking for a Production Supervisor (Mechanical) for deployment at Angus Works to oversee day-to-day operations of the Fabrication Shop and Machine Shop, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise fabrication and machining activities on the shop floor.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety procedures, and manufacturing best practices.
- Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams.
- Monitor manpower utilization, material availability, and workflow efficiency.
- Maintain production records and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualification:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- B.E. (Mechanical) with relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing industry's shop-floor operations.
- Thorough knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, and structural manufacturing is essential.
- Experience in a Machine Shop environment will be an added advantage.
Location: Angus Works, Hooghly
Contract: One-year tenure (extendable till project completion based on performance)
Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
