Job Summary
The Branch Administrator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the hospital. The role ensures smooth branch operations, regulatory compliance, staff coordination, facility management, and high standards of patient service.
Key ResponsibilitiesBranch Operations
- Manage the overall administrative operations of the hospital branch.
- Coordinate with Doctors, Nursing, Front Office, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Billing, and Housekeeping teams.
- Ensure smooth patient flow and efficient service delivery.
- Monitor branch performance and implement operational improvements.
Staff Management
- Supervise administrative and support staff.
- Monitor attendance, shifts, leave records, and discipline.
- Coordinate with HR for recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and ensure policy compliance.
Facility & Asset Management
- Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security of the hospital.
- Monitor AMC schedules, equipment maintenance, and vendor services.
- Manage inventory of administrative and non-medical supplies.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, statutory requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain licenses, records, registers, and branch documentation.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to Head Office.
Patient Experience
- Ensure excellent patient service and timely resolution of complaints.
- Maintain front office standards and patient satisfaction.
- Coordinate with departments to improve service quality.
Financial & Administrative Support
- Monitor petty cash, branch expenses, and vendor payments.
- Support billing, collections, and revenue-related activities.
- Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or any related field.
- MBA/MHA/BHA preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in hospital administration or healthcare operations.
- Experience in multispecialty, IVF, or fertility hospitals is an added advantage.
