Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime by responding quickly to maintenance issues.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and spare parts usage.
- Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance without affecting production targets.
- Monitor machine performance and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts and maintain inventory of maintenance materials.
- Follow safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support installation, commissioning, and testing of new machines and equipment.
- Assist in improving maintenance processes and implementing preventive maintenance plans.
Qualifications:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Maintenance Engineering or related field.
Experience:
- 4–6 years of experience in plant maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Understanding of industrial machines and equipment.
- Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance systems.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency breakdowns.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
