Job Summary
The Assistant Manager – Operations & Business Development will be responsible for managing day-to-day business operations, coordinating projects, supporting business development initiatives, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring the smooth execution of organizational activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
A. Operations Management
- Manage the organization's daily operational activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely project execution and delivery.
- Track project progress and follow up on pending tasks.
- Prepare project schedules, operational reports, and dashboards.
- Maintain business documents, project records, and databases.
- Coordinate meetings with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth execution of internal processes and operational workflows.
- Support procurement and administrative activities when required.
B. Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, and market research.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and business partners.
- Prepare business proposals, quotations, presentations, and company profiles.
- Conduct client meetings, negotiations, and follow-up discussions.
- Achieve monthly business development and revenue targets.
- Explore strategic partnerships and new market opportunities.
- Maintain CRM records and business opportunity trackers.
C. Marketing & Branding
- Coordinate with the Digital Marketing team to execute promotional campaigns.
- Support branding and corporate marketing initiatives.
- Prepare brochures, presentations, case studies, and marketing materials.
- Coordinate webinars, exhibitions, seminars, and networking events.
- Assist in lead generation and customer engagement activities.
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare marketing reports.
D. Administration & Coordination
- Coordinate with the CEO and management team on strategic initiatives.
- Prepare meeting agendas, Minutes of Meeting (MoM), and follow-up reports.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and organizational tasks.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee coordination activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Conduct 20+ client meetings per month.
- Generate 5+ new business opportunities every month.
- Ensure 95% on-time project delivery.
- Maintain 90%+ client satisfaction.
- Submit weekly operational and business reports.
- Achieve assigned monthly revenue targets.
Qualifications
- MBA / BBA / BBM / B.Com / Any Bachelor's Degree.
- 2–5 years of experience in Operations, Business Development, Project Coordination, Administration, or Client Relationship Management.
- Experience in Software, IT Services, SaaS, or Digital Marketing companies will be an added advantage.
