Job Title: QS & Planning Manager

Job Summary
The QS & Planning Manager is responsible for managing project planning, scheduling, cost estimation, quantity surveying, budgeting, contract administration, and project cost control. The role ensures that projects are executed within approved budgets, timelines, and contractual requirements while maintaining quality standards and profitability.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuantity Surveying & Cost Management
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Review project drawings and specifications for quantity estimation.
- Prepare cost estimates, project budgets, and cost plans.
- Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Verify contractor bills, vendor invoices, and subcontractor claims.
- Conduct rate analysis and cost benchmarking for construction activities.
- Prepare variation orders, change orders, and additional work claims.
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
- Prepare baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project milestones.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly.
- Analyze project delays and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare recovery plans to mitigate schedule slippages.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure adherence to timelines.
Contract Administration
- Review contracts, work orders, and tender documents.
- Manage contractual correspondence and claims.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project specifications.
- Support tendering, bid evaluation, and contractor selection processes.
- Monitor contract performance and project deliverables.
Project Monitoring & Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports.
- Track project costs, productivity, and resource utilization.
- Generate MIS reports for management review.
- Conduct project risk assessments and mitigation planning.
- Present project status, cost reports, and schedule updates to management.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, Consultants, Contractors, and Procurement teams.
- Support site teams in resolving planning and commercial issues.
- Ensure effective communication among all project stakeholders.
- Participate in project review meetings and management discussions.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor QS and Planning Engineers.
- Assign responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Develop best practices for project planning and cost management.
- Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Additional certification in Quantity Surveying, Contracts Management, or Project Planning preferred.
- Certification in Primavera P6/MS Project is an added advantage.
Experience
- 8–15 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Planning, and Cost Control.
- Experience in Real Estate, Construction, Infrastructure, or EPC projects.
- Proven experience in handling large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
