We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior/Graduate Mechanical CAD Design Engineer to join our team. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience under the guidance of senior designers.
You will use Siemens NX to support the design of sheet metal components, develop flat patterns, and prepare detailed 2D engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in creating 3D models of sheet metal parts and small assemblies using Siemens NX.
- Generate flat patterns from 3D models for manufacturing processes such as laser cutting and bending.
- Convert 3D concepts into detailed 2D manufacturing drawings in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Apply basic GD&T callouts, including dimensions, tolerances, flatness, and orientation.
- Make minor design modifications and implement engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Update and maintain engineering documentation.
- Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for production.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Automotive Engineering.
- Recent graduates or candidates with up to one year of relevant experience are welcome.
- Completed training or certification in Siemens NX (Unigraphics), particularly the Sheet Metal module.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal design principles, including bend allowance, K-factor, and relief cuts.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
