The Role
You'll own Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads campaigns end-to-end. Plan, launch, optimise, and report. Work directly with the founder and clients. This is execution + strategy combined — you're not just managing budgets, you're improving performance and recommending what to do next.
Day-to-Day:
– Set up and optimise Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Performance Max, Shopping)
– Set up and optimise Meta Ads campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, Reels, Audience Network)
– Monitor budgets, CPL, ROAS, CTR, conversion rates daily
– Use Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel data to inform optimisation decisions
– Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, audience targeting
– Write performance reports (weekly internal, monthly client-facing)
– Test ad copy, creatives, landing pages, and audiences
– Flag trends, anomalies, and opportunities — don't wait for feedback
– Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to speed up research, copy generation, and analysis
You Must Have
– Hands-on experience running live Meta Ads or Google Ads campaigns (own projects, freelance, or agency)
– Understanding of performance metrics — ROAS, CPA, CTR, conversion funnel
– Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Search Console, and Meta Ads Manager
– Strong analytical mindset — you can read data and spot patterns
– Comfort with spreadsheets (Google Sheets / Excel) for tracking and reporting
– AI-first approach — you use Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools for strategy, copy, and analysis, not as a gimmick
– Ability to own tasks and communicate clearly without micromanagement
Nice to Have
– Experience with Meta Pixel setup and custom audience creation
– A/B testing experience and statistical thinking
– Knowledge of landing page optimisation or CRO
– Exposure to CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
– Prior agency or SaaS marketing background
