Amazon India Fulfillment Central Operations is seeking a Senior Manager to lead our ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence Systems) team, driving process excellence across India's rapidly growing fulfillment network. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will own the design, standardization, and continuous improvement of operational processes across fulfillment centers (FCs) , upstream receive centers (IXDs) and Storage and Distribution Centers (SDCs) and Return Centers (DRCCs).
As the Sr Manager, ACES, you will build and lead a team of specialists responsible for creating scalable standard work, reducing process variation, benchmarking performance across the network, and deploying innovative solutions that improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost. You will partner closely with site operations leaders, technology teams, and program management to translate network-level strategies into executable playbooks that work on the ground.

Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in process engineering, industrial engineering, operations excellence, or continuous improvement roles
5+ years of people management experience leading teams of engineers or technical professionals
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field
Proven track record of driving process improvement at scale in a fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics environment
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar CI methodologies
Strong data analysis and decision-making skills; ability to translate metrics into action
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related field
Experience in e-commerce or high-volume distribution/fulfillment operations
Experience managing process engineering in a multi-site, heterogeneous network
Familiarity with Amazon's operational mechanisms (WBR, MBR, WhitePaper, DMAIC)
Experience scaling teams and processes in a high-growth, emerging market environment
Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification
Key job responsibilities
Lead a team of ACES managers driving process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement across India's fulfillment network
Own the network-wide SOP library — design, validate, deploy, and iterate process standards across heterogeneous site types (FC, SDC, MFC, Cross-dock)
Drive data-driven benchmarking to identify performance gaps, reduce variation, and scale best practices
Own the launch playbook for new sites — embed during ramp-up to accelerate time-to-maturity
Partner with Technology, Ops, and WHS teams to evaluate and deploy process automation and innovation.
Build capability across site operations teams through coaching, training, and upskilling programs
Lead WhitePaper/business review mechanisms to drive accountability on process health metrics.
Develop and mentor a high-performing ACES team, creating career development paths and rotation opportunities
