Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Coordinator to support the sales team in the shipping and logistics business. The role involves coordinating with clients, preparing quotations, managing documentation, following up on inquiries, and ensuring smooth communication between internal departments and customers to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the team for customer inquiries and business development activities.
- Prepare and share quotations for shipping, freight, logistics, import/export, and transportation services.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with clients regarding shipments, pricing, and service requirements.
- Handle customer communication through calls and emails.
- Coordinate with operations, documentation, and accounts teams for smooth shipment execution.
- Prepare sales reports, MIS reports, and maintain customer databases.
- Assist in onboarding new clients and maintaining long-term relationships with existing customers.
- Track shipment status and update customers accordingly.
- Maintain records of contracts, agreements, pricing, and customer communications.
- Support the sales team in achieving monthly and yearly targets.
- Resolve customer concerns and coordinate internally for timely solutions.
